The story of Pali on stage

During Partition, a boy is left back in Pakistan. Away from his family, he gets adopted by a Muslim family that doesn’t have a child. It leads to a conflict in the society and he gets converted to Islam. After a lot of investigation later, he gets back to his family in India. He again faces the same conflict and crisis that he faced in Pakistan. It is ironical that the question of Pali’s identity does not remain simply as a problem of two families, but becomes a communal issue instead.
An Alif Theatre presentation, the play, titled , directed by Raunak Khan and features actor Saif Ansari. It is scheduled to be staged at Ranga Shankara on April 21, 3.30 pm.
