The Beech Ke, is a tribute to RK Laxman and it brings three short plays that will take the audience into the world of a common man.
The first play,
Bahar Baito tells the tale of a homeless man, giving an insight into a world where the richer factions of society own and control everything.The second,
Thenga, is about a rich business man with a lot of money hid under his mattress and the ways he finds to run away from the police keeping all his money intact.
In
Choona, the third play, a young man promises the whole village, that he will be their next savior. And the repercussions of his actions form the rest of the play.
This Hindi/English play will be staged at Rangoli, Metro Art Centre, MG Road, at 7.30 pm on August 11, 2018.
