The Open Couple: a play about sex, suicide and sensation

"Rule No. 1: For the open couple to work properly, only one part of it has to be open."
This line provides the central theme of The Open Couple. In the play, Antonia has coped for years with her husband, who decides they should be an "open couple". A mad-cap masquerade, a roller-coaster circus ring, or rather, just a 'normal day' between a man and a woman.This hilarious comedy is typical of the biting satire for which Dario Fo has become famous.
The production that will be staged in Bangalore is a one-hour play that has been directed by Faraz Khan and features Anuj Gurwara and Vaishali Bisht. The play is being staged in Bangalore between September 19 and 28 at Jagriti Theatre.
