Shabhana Azmi to act in the adaption of Girish Karnad's Odakalu Bimba

City's theatre goers can feast on Shabhana Azmi's emotionally charged performance in a play by Girish Karnad. This plot of the play revolves around two sisters who are bound to live together under the same roof. The characters of both the sisters is portrayed by renowned actress, Shabana Azmi, who shows the anomaly of their love and suffering. This play shows how the arrangement of the sisters is fraught, as they respond to their own lives together, but continually modify the image they have of each other and their relation.

The play is scheduled to take place at Chowdiah Memorial Hall on June 14, 7 pm.
