, is set to make your weekend an entertaining one. Presented by the

Big Fat Company

(BFC), this dramatic piece uses well-known Kannada play,

Hayavadana

, by Girish Karnad as a springboard to raise questions about aesthetic choices, the cultural narrative around the body and an actor’s relationship to the character.

It uses the iconic play to ask social, cultural and political questions that come from the very personal experience of being a plus-size actor in today’s world.

The cast includes artistes Anuradha HR, Sushma SV, Sneha Kappanna, Sharun Robin and Kriti Bettadh.

The play is scheduled to take place at April 6 and 7 (7.30 pm) at Ranga Shankara.
