The plot of the play, titled Song of the Swan, revolves around five people, who recount their stories, sometimes fictional and sometimes not. These stories are punctuated by the accounts of a mother trying to remember things she took pains to forget. The story is about the kidnapping and beheading of Hans Christian Ostro, a Norwegian trekker, who became the symbol of the rising turmoil in Kashmir in the 1990s. The play is written by Asad Hussain and directed by Shubhrajyoti Barat, while the artistes include Suneel Sinha, Gopal Datt, Saurabh Nayyar, Harsh Khurana, Avneesh Mishra, Benaf Dadachanji, Avantika Akerkar.
It will be staged on April 24 (7.30 pm) at Ranga Shankara, JP Nagar.
