Nothing like Lear is back in Bengaluru

Rajat Kapoor and Vinay Pathak’s popular play, , is back in Bengaluru. This time, the play will be staged at Jyoti Nivas College on October 13 at 7.30 pm. is a devised performance based on Shakespeare’s King Lear. To see King Lear through the eyes of a clown is to see him as a man, as a father, as an outcast and as a child – to view a fool through the eyes of a fool. The actor on stage, an old clown... an entire life lived within the tempest of the theatre. The search for Lear brings us to the eye of the storm – the self.
