Narratives of gender, identity and sexuality

A new play comes to Bengaluru this weekend. Shiva, is a dramatic narrative that collates stories of people one would meet everyday as it explores their tryst with gender, identity & sexuality. The team will use themes of movement, music, poetry and realistic storytelling in their production.
Directed and written by Dayasindhu Sakrepatna, the production features poetry by Sneha Ram, music by Karthik Hebbar and choreography by Yamini Muthanna, Ramaa Venugopalan, and Jagadishwar Sukumar, and will be performed in the city on October 13 and October 14, at Jagriti Theatre, Whitefield, 3pm and 6.30 pm.
