Mojina Seemeyache Ondooru: A serious comedy

Mojina Seemeyache Ondooru, a 90-minute Kannada play, starts out as a comedy, but takes a serious turn towards the end with its thought-provoking twist. The play was originally written by Badal Sarkar and staged for Kannada audiences by Rajendra Karanth and directed by Bhanuprakash Kadagaththuru.
The play is about four thieves from present-day society who accidentally enter a new and advanced system of society.What they confront and how they find contrasts between today and the future form the central theme of the play.
The cast and crew of Mojina Seemeyache Ondooru include SN Swamy, Jayaprakash, Lakshman Jadagannavar, Vijay, Krishna, Dhanush, Vinay, Aishwarya, Kaushik, Yusuf Khan, Shama and Harini. The play will be staged at Ranga Shankara on June 17 at 7.30 pm.
