Get a whiff of heritage theatre
Hailed as an ‘Indian Masterpiece’ by the European media and described as mesmerizing by the press in the US, Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Foundation’s theatre spectacle Quli: Dilon ka Shahzaada is based on the historic love-legend of the founder of Hyderabad, poet-prince Quli Qutub Shah and his danseuse-beloved Bhagmati. The play is embellished with verses written by Quli Qutub Shah himself, shadow dance and rich period sets and costumes.

The artistes of the play are Mohammad Ali Baig, Noor Baig, Rashmi Seth, Vijay Prasad, and Madhu Swaminath.
It is scheduled to take place on December 19 (3.30 and 7.30 pm) at Ranga Shankara, 36/2 8th Cross II Phase, JP Nagar.
