City gears up for short-play treat
The house of Shadow Lights has put together a string of short plays that would charm theatre lovers from all age groups. They are:
Puppet show
A puppet show ends abruptly half way through. The puppet comes alive and challenges the puppeteer. The entire play is set in a satirical tone, without being specific on any incident or people.
Smell of Rain
A corporate engineer, a bubbly girl and their liking towards each other set in a humorous manner.

Argument Clinic
What happens when you are paid to conduct and foster an argument?
The Investigation
This is a comical take on the interaction between the investigating officer and a witness.
For the Same Reason
A beach side vendor encounters a girl standing on a sea shore attempting to commit suicide. Their funny conversation takes twists and turns and what happens next is set in a dramatic mood.

Milton
A young man goes to a doctor in order to rescue him from Milton.
Role Reversal
A small simple episode, involving an old father and his materialistically driven son.
You or Me?
A sperm meets the ovum and discusses regarding the chromosomes.
'Loo'natics
A small boy goes missing while attending nature’s call. What happened to the boy and what happens during the investigation process is setup in a humorous tone.
The plays are directed by Vivek Raju, Vinod Kumar S, Ranjith Kakkayur and Siddhartha Satyabrata, while the artists include Devi Suganya, Shanmugananda, Krishnamurthy Narayanaswamy, Ranjith Kakkayur, Anshulika Kapoor, Naresh Babu K, Robin Vivian Frank and Rijita Mukherjee.
It is scheduled to take place at Jus Trufs Chocolatiers in Jakkuru on March 7 at 7.30 pm.
