In celebration of 60 years of Bangalore Little Theatre, the theatre group is organising a

digital series

called 'Let's Talk Art!'. The first guest on the series, will be

theatre personality Arundhati Raja

, who has acted in plays like A Heap of Broken Images, has directed plays in multiple languages and is also a teacher of drama. Arundhati, the co-founder of Jagriti Theatre, has directed over 30 productions and continues to support and encourage new talent. The actor-director has collaborated with and acted alongside several theatre stalwarts of the country and is known for her work on plays like All About Women,

Alipha

and Girish Karnad’s iconic Kannada play, Yayati.

Through this interactive, online series, Bangalore Little Theatre will have artistes sharing stories about their personal journey, their craft, artistic process, upcoming work and also their association with Bangalore Little Theatre. The series, will take place once a month and will be a platform where the audience can interact with various patrons of art. The audience will not only get an insight into the professional lives of the featured artistes, but will also get to interact and draw inspiration from them. Since its inception in 1960, Bangalore Little Theatre has produced over 200 plays and is involved in training, education, outreach programmes.
