Arundhati Nag on Arundhati Raja's stage?

Looks like theatre hub Ranga Shankara's chief Arundhati Nag, wife of yesteryear Sandalwood actor Shankar Nag, will stage her play Bikhre Bimb at Arundhati Raja's theatre hub, Jagriti.
The two women, who seek to keep theatre alive, have acted in different versions of this play. While Arundhati Raja has acted in the English version titled A Heap of Broken Images, Arundhati Nag has featured in Bikhre Bimb, a Hindi version of the same play.
The play, directed by Girish Karnad and KM Chaitanya, has been translated to Hindi by none other than Arundhati Nag's own sister Padmavathi Rao. It is a story about a writer who is caught between guilt and her desire for fame.
The play will be staged at Jagriti Theatre from January 22-24 at 8 pm.
