A play about hardships of parents who are left alone
The
Kannada
playSanje Haadu
is based on the play of the same name written in 1989 by Rajendra Karanth. The play's protagonist is an old man, Sadashivrao, who is left alone after the demise of his wife and his son, Chandrashekar is away making a career for himself. A young boy, Sujayeendra, comes to live with the old man as a paying guest, and how this affects Sadashivrao's life and makes him feel like father again, forms the rest of the play. Sanje Haadu will be staged in the city on September 20.end of article
