Sevanthi Prasanga is the

Kannada

adaptation of

George Bernard Shaw

’s play ‘Pygmalion’.
The plot follows the life of Sevanthi, a young balloon-seller who encounters an arrogant phonetic professor, who casually tells her that he could teach her ‘proper’ Kannada. Thereby, making her presentable in the high society and win the title of ‘Miss Rajdhani’.
The play is written by Jayanth Kaikini and directed by Sandeep Pai S. The cast includes actors Bhargav Shastry, Sevanthi, Kalyanpurkar, Sarasamma, Jawaranna, Maadamma/Ammaji, Pentayya, Kumar Venky, Tippejana, Shreyas and Harshil Kaushik.
