Satyanapura Siri to be staged on November 13
A Kannada play presented with Yakshagana and Pad-dhana
Directed by Krishnamurthy Kavattaru, the play looks at how Siri, a sacred deity of Tulu nadu, has fought against the the atrocities of male-dominated society. The production presents the stories of Siri in a Yakshagana format along with Pad-dhana (a folk song style). The play will be staged in the city on November 13 at 7.30 pm.
