A popular theatre troupe Prabhath Kalavidaru will stage a dance drama Cindrealla in Kannada in Bengaluru at Prestige Srihari Khoday Center for Performing Arts on Sunday. The play has been staged over 1,000 times across different cities of the country. The play is directed by T V Gopinathdas.
Cindrella which is a technologically advanced spectacle, featuring aerial acts, magic, and other breathtaking element is a unique blend of Indian storytelling that aims to captivate audiences. Harish Prabhath is portraying the role of the prince. While, Deepashree is seen in the titular role.
The interesting aspect of the play is some of characters will directly interact with audiences which will add more fun to the drama. Hema Prabhath of America America fame has done the choreography. Praveen D Rao and Mysore Ananthaswamy have composed the music. Some of the songs of the legendary playback singer S P Balasubrahmanyam is used in the play.
