Beechi (
Beemasena Rao Rayasam
) was one of the few writers in
Kannada
who wrote humour. Most of his writings are a sarcastic comedy about people lifestyle. The
play
Manasa Putra is written based on Beechi’s experiences those he wrote on different books. It majorly involves the few of the incidents which he quoted as important ones in his life.
The play is directed by Basavaraj Emmiyavar, while the artistes are Sowmyashree, Hari Samashti, Murulidhara Chimmalagi, Akshatha Siddaramu, Madhukar S, Gururaj Basavaraj, Vinay L, Ichchha Parajuli, Sivakirana Askinal, Pallavi Rajendra, Mayur Patil, Praveen HP, Namitha Ramu and Abhishek B Chakrannavar.
Manasa Putra is scheduled to be staged at
KEA Prabhath Rangamandria
on September 30.
