Shashaa Tirupati to perform live today
Get set for an evening of
Shashaa, who is known for her hit tracks like Humma Humma, Aye Mr Minor, Un Kadhal Irundhaal and Kaadhalaada, has a huge fan following. The singer recently released her original English track titled Leprechaun Love. The song, says the singer, has been written, composed, sung, shot and edited by her in her house during the lockdown.
“When my parents would go for their doctors’ appointments for prescription drug pick-up, I would go outside on the lawn and shoot some footage and see how it looks in terms of the message of my song. ‘Leprechaun Love’ talks about how it is so important to hold onto those little rainbows of love, kindness and happiness that we see. While it will eventually go away, cherishing it is important. The song is also about believing in things that we don't generally believe in, something that science says is wrong or just simple folklore. I think there is a beauty in that and strongly feel that when you don’t have something happy to remember, create it. That is the beauty of our imagination and what the song is all about,” she adds. Shashaa also has other independent songs in her kitty like Oceans Rained and more and a bilingual song too.
