Sandeep Chowta's next album is an 'immersive cinematic musical experience'

Musician Sandeep Chowta is quite excited about his next release, which is quite different from his previous work. "I have tried to create an atmosphere of music for the music lover who is transported into a 360-degree space instantly when he/she listens to the tracks with headphones," says Sandeep whose album,

, will be out on February 20.

for this project to create four unique soundtracks that when heard on a headphone gives the music lovers an experience similar to watching an opera. Binaural sound has been introduced to the soundtracks to create a similar experience for the listener. "This is the future. With recent advances in technology, I tried my hand at presenting my audience with an immersive musical experience," he explains.

Talking about the process of creating the soundtracks, Sandeep says, "I started with the piano and string bits and then put together the portions of the four collaborating artistes to work on the music. The process took me around six-and-half months."

Despite the pandemic, 2020, he says, was a creative year for him, as he was able to release as many as 18 tracks. "One does not stop making music and I have been doing maximum collaborations during the pandemic," he says.
