Kuladalli from the old film
Satya Harishchandra which starred Dr
Rajkumar in the lead role. Now, with a new film of the same name, directed by Dayal Padmanaban, the makers decided to bring in a bit of nostalgia connected with the old film by recreating same song too. Composed by
Arjun Janya, this one is accompanied with energetic visuals featuring
Sharan Hruday
, and has been choreographed by Imran Sardhariya.
“In this day, where remixes are common, we did not want to pick up an old song and spoil it. So what we have done is recreated the song. So while the soul remains, it is a brand new song. Since the rights of this original track is with Sa Re Ga Ma, and the rest of our songs are with Lahari, the audio launch was one-of-its-kind where both the audio groups did the honours together. We also used an LP record instead of the regular CD, which again takes us back in time when the older film
Satya Harishchandra was released," explains Dayal.
