Nikhil Chinapa mobbed by teenage girls

VJ, DJ and emcee Nikhil Chinapa can now say he has come full circle. Over the weekend, he returned to the place where his career as an emcee began, in 1990, at the cultural festival at Mount Carmel College. But this time, it was different.
Chinapa was mobbed by girls all the way to the principal’s office. After he felt all important, he headed straight to the Storm Festival where he showed his magic at the DJ’s console with dear buddy Rohit Barker.
If that doesn’t sound like a fun enough trip to his hometown, Chinapa had a three am session of lasertag with mates DJ Tuhin Mehta and friend Nikhil. He admits, cheekily, that it was his first time, and he tried to cheat to win. His trip was sealed with a lunch date with his mom and dad at their home on Monday. A well-rounded weekend is what we like to call it.
