Musical extravaganza to honour Kannada artistes

Musical extravaganza Geetanjali is – which aims to honour some of the musicians from the Kannada film industry – is back with its latest edition.
The musical group is led by music director and lyricist Praveen D Rao. The troupe’s pride are some eminent musicians and singers, who have contributed in spreading Indian music across the globe. Some of the instrumentalists from around 15-plus group are Shri Narayan Sharma (on violin), Ashwini Koushik (on flute), Srinivas Achar (on guitar), Sangeet Thomas (on keyboard), Suma Rani (on sitar), Sandeep Vasishta (on saxophone), NS Manjunath (on drums) and Charan Rao. They’ll be supported by playback singers Ajay Warrier, Supriya Raghunandan, Shruti Bhide, Nikhil Parthasarathy, Govind Kurnool and Sangeetha Ravindranath.
