Makers of 'Raana' drop the first single from the film

The team of 'Raana' have come out with the single from the soundtrack. Titled Udho Udho Huligemma, the song has been composed by Chandan Shetty with Karibasava Tadakal lending the vocals - popular lyricist and filmmaker Dr. V. Nagendra Prasad has penned the lyrics of the song. The track includes prominent folk elements with strong percussions and chorus work - the team released the lyrical version of the song which features Chandan Shetty himself along with several live musicians.


'Raana' is an action entertainer directed by Nanda Kishore and Gujjal Puroshottam producing it under the banner of Gujjal Talkies. Shreyas Manju plays the male lead and is paired along with the '

Ek Love Ya

' girl Reeshma Nanaiah. The makers have roped in Ragini Dwivedi for a special dance number which shall be choreographed by Imran Sardhariya.

'Raana' will be Shreyas Manju's third outing as a lead actor after having made his debut in 2019 with 'Padde Huli'. He has already completed his second, yet-unreleased, film 'Vishnu Priya' in which popular Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier plays the female lead. With this directorial, ace Malayalam filmmaker V. K. Prakash returns to Kannada cinema after a gap of 11 years. He had previously made the anthology film 'Aidondla Aidu'.
