He had been involved with music for a while, but seriously started pursuing it only last year, releasing a single called Southside. I wanted to write from the perspective of an outsider who does not have those options. I am privileged that I can take these thoughts and break out of the confines that is typically considered structure that society enforces on us. Options is just me trying to show that a lot of people don’t have that. And you can see that if you go outside on any street in India. I came about with the idea after seeing people doing things that are just stuck in the system. They know no other way.
