Karabuu tops Kannada music charts this week

Sitting comfortably at the top of the Mirchi Top 20 charts and retaining its positin for another week, is the song Karabuu from the hit film Pogaru. It has been sung by music director Chandan Shetty, who has also penned the lyrics, while the film stars Dhruva Sarja and Rashmika Mandanna, among others. The song has been so popular of late, that we are confident the Telugu version of the number, which is expected to drop on August 6, will be equally popular.
Meanwhile, The Bengaluru Song from the film French Biryani has climed up to the eighth spot from its 20th spot last week. The song by music director Vasuki Vaibhav, with lyrics by Vasuki Vaibhav and Avinash Balekkala, has been sung by Adithi Sagar, who impresses with her peppy rap. The music video has also been receiving appreciation for its portrayal of the city of Bengaluru.
Falling down on the charts this week, are the songs Odeya Hey Odeya from the film Odeya and also Yoo Yoo from the film Bharaate. While Yoo Yoo by music director Chethan Kumar takes the 16th, Odeya Hey Odeya from the Darshan starrer Odeya takes the 12th position. Retaining its position on the charts is the romantic number Neene Modalu from the film Kiss. The song, sung by Shreya Ghoshal with lyrics by AP Arjun, retains second place, while the song Hands Up from the film Avane Srimannarayana retains third place on the charts this week.
