Kannada celebrities on Monday were seen mourning the loss of noted Kannada composer
Rajan of Rajan - Nagendra fame. After Rajan's son Ananth, informed that his father had succumbed to a gastric disorder, several Kannada celebrities took to their social media account to remember the beloved composer.

death of Rajan.

Vasuki Vaibhav, Anushree, music composer Charan Raj too to mourned the loss of the composer. Actor Vijay Raghavendra too shared a picture and wrote:
Puneeth Rajkumar too penned a heartfelt message as a tribute to the late music composer.
Rajan was working with his son Ananth after he lost his brother in 2000. Rajan and Nagendra have composed music for some of the biggest and most successful soundtracks, with them ruling the charts particularly in the 1970s. Some of their most successful soundtracks around that time include Nyayave Devaru, Gandhada Gudi, Devara Gudi, Bhagyavantaru, Eradu Kanasu, Naa Ninna Mareyalaare, Naa Ninna Bidalaare, Hombisilu, Bayalu Daari, Paavana Ganga and Giri Kanye among the others. The brothers have been called the Kalyanji - Anandji of the the Kannada film industry and they have won multiple awards, recognition and honours for their works through their decades, including the prestigious Karnataka State Film Awards.
