I was in New Zealand in March when the news about the pandemic got worse. So, I reached India somehow and two days after I reached India, there was a total

lockdown

. I was lucky enough that I got home safe and sound. Suddenly I realised I had a lot of free time, so I began working on projects, which have been in the pipeline for a few years.

2020 was about unfinished projects
Some of the projects I worked on are Bharat Symphony, Beyond Borders, Vande Mataram, Mahatma Symphony and so on. I also did a lot of online concerts with Kavita (Krishnamurti) and finished writing books for Trinity College, a publisher in Germany and more. My eldest son, Narayana and his wife recently had a baby and I was happy I got to spend time with my grandson.
Looking forward to live shows
I have been putting together some pictures from my personal collection for a museum in Italy. The idea is to have these pictures on display while I play in the background and audiences travel through these pictures while they listen to

music

. As a musician, nothing can match the experience of performing live. I hope venues will open up and audiences return to watch a live performance. A lot of musicians have lost their jobs and it would be great to see them back in action.
