The rock n roll band Half Step Down, which came together in 2005, is known to blend alements of blues, alt-rock, funk, and reggae in their music. Against being labeled by a genre, the band is inspired by music legends such as Led Zeppelin, RHCP, and Dave Matthews to Rachmaninoff, Marley, and Django Reinhardt.
In early 2007 the band made it to GIR with their track Overture to Outerspace, which gave them huge recognition.
