Arjun Janya, is set to go globe-trotting. Starting this weekend, the music man will kick off his world tour, which will take him across
Singapore
, Australia, London, and wind up in the US, later next year. The first show on the tour is slated to be held on November 5 in Singapore, where Arjun will perform with a 14-piece band, along with singers Anuradha Bhat, Vyas Raj, and Anupama Bhat.
“The three-hour show will see me perform most of my hits, from films like Hebbuli, Chakravarthy, Adhyaksha, Victory, Bhajarangi, Mungaru Male 2, etc., along with a tribute to late matinee idols
Rajkumar and
Vishnuvardhan. The organizers are bringing in dancers from Malaysia to perform to the songs. One of the highlights of the event will be a specially-composed rap number that exhorts people to learn Kannada,” says Arjun, who will fly out for the show on Saturday.
