singer Anuradha Bhat

has been quite the busy bee during the lockdown. The singer, who does not have a full-fledged studio set up, did purchase some recording equipment prior to the

pandemic

, which turned out to be a boon. "In the beginning of the lockdown, I kept myself busy by enrolling for online classes to learn new skills, like sound engineering, among others, which I knew would come in handy in my profession. Knowing how to record myself in the best possible scenario has been quite the learning experience and allowed me to stay in the reckoning," says Anuradha, who also performed several online concerts.
"Since I have all the pre-requisites as far as equipment to record goes, I have been able to collaborate with music directors and sing as many as 15 film songs, one of which is for a Telugu movie, while the rest are for upcoming Kannada projects. We coordinate over video call and then I record and send my voice across. I also recently recorded a duet with Rajesh Krishnan sir, called Navilugari, which is part of the launch of music director Dr Kiran Thotambyle's audio label - LL Aalapana. The video of the song was released today and features real-life lovers who got married this morning.

Navilugari

is the first song for the label," says Anuradha.
Dr Kiran Thotambyle is best known for his compositions for the Upendra-starrer, I Love You.
