Music band
Soule
– comprising Sarfaraaz Khan, Deepak Marathe, Vikas Naregal, Sumith Naik and Sandeep Pillai – is set to perform in the city.
It is their love for Indian classical music and each one’s eccentricity and freedom to explore unconventional combination of instruments – from sarangi, harmonium, guitar and tabla to other percussions – that has brought these musicians together.
It is music that helps them stay positive and happy in this unpredictable world. They see music as an absolutely non-violent way to connect, express, share and celebrate life and all of creation itself.
The band’s performances celebrate a rich variety of styles – from Indian classical, sufi, ghazal, spiritual, fusion to experimental.
The concert is scheduled to take place at Windmills Craftworks on May 25 and 26 at 9.30 pm.
