Kannada movie ‘Hasiru Ribbon’ has surprised everyone and won the Best Lyrics award at the 66th Edition of Yamaha Fascino

in Chennai. Dr H.S Venkateshmurthy who has written the lyrics for the song ‘Sakkareya Paakadali’ in the movie has bagged the award.

The story of the film revolves around two women who are trying to run their household and how they get the hopes by a person. The film received a good response from the audience, however, didn't score much at the box office. The innocence of these leading ladies has been showcased beautifully in the movie.

Upasana
Mohan has composed the music for the best lyrics of the year while the film is backed by R.S Kumar.
