The film industry has always been a good step forward for female models. Lately, more male models have also been making inroads into the film industry, especially in Sandalwood, given that movies need good-looking actors, with toned bodies along with good acting chops for positive and negative roles. Kabir Duhan Singh
He was one of the most successful ramp models in India before turning baddie in South films. After Tamil and Telugu, Kabir, a Bengaluru favourite, is set to debut in Hebbuli.

Thakur Anoop Singh
This model-turned-TV actor is now making his debut in Sandalwood soon. He will be seen playing the baddie in the Kannada-Telugu bilingual Rogue.

Vijay Suriya
This former pageant winner has made a transition from being a model to a successful TV star to now being counted as an upcoming face to watch out for in Kannada after Ishtakamya.

Chandan Kumar
A model, he became a household name on the small screen and has quite a few films to his credit, including Luv U Alia. His next will be Arjun Sarja’s Prema Baraha.

Suraj Gowda
A pageant winner and ramp model from Mysuru, Suraj made his debut with Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole. His upcoming projects include Kahi and Pradesha Samachara.

Vihan Gowda

A dancer, DJ and model, Vihan Gowda is an MBA grad who had his sights set on acting. He was seen in Parapancha and Cinema My Darling, both of which released this year.

Akash Singh Rajput
One of the newest models-turned-actors to enter Sandalwood, Akash will be seen in the upcoming college caper BMW. He will be seen in the role of a spoilt rich brat.

Aryan Raj
This boy from Raichur has made the transition from the ramp to the screen with the recently-released erotic thriller, Red. Aryan has a few more films in his kitty.
