Ziddi gears up for a February release

Actress Aindrita Ray's upcoming film Ziddi opposite Prajwal Devaraj is complete and the makers are looking at releasing the film in February. The film is produced jointly by Om Shanthi Vijay Productions Amarchand Jain and Vijaya Surana and directed by R Anantharaju.
Ziddi is a remake of the Malayalam film Puthiya Mukham, which had Prithviraj and Priya Mani in lead roles. However, Anantharaju has made slight changes to the script to suit the Kannada audiences.The movie has been extensively shot in Bangalore, Channapatna, Melkote and Arasikere.
Aindrita had earlier worked with Prajwal in Meravanige, which marked her debut in Sandalwood and Nannavanu. Andy plays a college student in the film. In an earlier interview with TOI, she said that she will not watch the original film, and will add her own inputs to shape her role better. She said, "I don���������t intend to watch the film. I want to bring in my own elements and add freshness to my role."
Ziddi also has Tilak Sekar, playing a negative role in the movie. Actors Aishwarya Nag, Yethiraj, Suchindra Prasad are also part of the film.
