For Yuvaraj, who makes his debut with the upcoming Asthitva, the making of the film has been quite the learning experience. The actor, who was given a lifestyle change in preparation for his role as a common man, also learnt that film props are not meant to be real. 'We were shooting for an action sequence and one of the spot boys handed me a bottle that I was to smash on the extra's head.
The spot boy was relatively new on the job, but I did not think anything was amiss and proceeded with the shot. When the stunt coordinator said 'action', I raised the bottle and was all set to smash it on the guy, when I suddenly wondered if he would get hurt on impact. I was told that he wouldn't, but when the crew then examined the bottle, they realized that I had been given a real one, which, when hit with the force I intended to, would have definitely hurt the guy. After that, I was extra cautious about using any of the props that were handed to me,' says Yuvaraj.
