Director
Suni of
Simplag Ond Love Story and
Simplag Innond Love Story fame, is back this week with
Bazaar, which marks the debut of Dhanveerrah. Also starring
Aditi Prabhudeva, the film is all set to release across theatres in Karnataka today. Produced by Bharathi Film Productions,
Bazaar, says Suni, has quite a few unique characteristics that make it a must-watch.
“Not many are aware about the world of pigeon racing, and this film will introduce them to that lesser-known sport.
Having a reversible love story, where the hero looks forward to having his love fail, is yet another new subject that adds to the novelty of the narrative,” explains director Suni.
“These aspects are supported by a fresh style of storytelling,” he says, adding, “The movie will also appeal to audiences who love mass elements. Santosh Rai Pathaje’s cinematography will be a visual treat, while
Ravi Basrur’s music adds to the charm of the movie.”
Thimmeai Gowda, the movie's producer says, "The story follows the journey of an orphan who joins a rowdy gang and then faces various disappointments that life throws at him. There is also a message about the disadvantages of betting on pigeon races and the challenges faced by orphans and people without children woven into the narrative. All these factors will appeal to the audiences."
