Sandalwood's ace director
Yogaraj Bhat may have made a 10 second appearance in a ditty in buddy Suri's Jackie. But being on camera for a full-fledged role is a different ball game altogether. And Bhatru learnt it the hard way when he faced the camera as an actor in protege Gadda Vijay's flick recently. "It was so tough. Being an actor and putting in so much effort to lend credibility to a character is not easy.
Now I know what my artistes go through every day after feeling the heat myself," laughs YB. The director plays a jailor in the flick and his scenes were shot a prison in Bellary. "We've been doing night scenes and I hardly get time to sleep. But there's no escape because I have to be back on the sets the next day. I will be more sympathetic to my actors now," smiles Bhatru.
