Yash pushes Gajakesari’s release to avoid clashing with Kochadaiyaan, Maanikya?

Box office results are out. Sudeep’s directorial venture Maanikya has collected Rs 13 crore in the first week of release and it is going strong at the ticket counters.
Moreover, Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan will release this Friday. Thus if any Kannada movie releases this week, then it will have to fight a tough battle to survive the box office battle. Probably that is the reason why the release of Rocking Star Yash's next – Gajakesari, was postponed to May 23 .
It was first suggested that the film was slated for a May 16 release. Amulya has been roped in as the female lead in Gajakesari, who made a comeback of sorts with the Ganesh-starrer Shravani Subramanya. The film has been directed by choreographer-turned-director S Krishna, and the music has been composed by V Harikrishna.
