Kannada superstar Yash is currently busy with his highly anticipated project, 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grownups,' directed by Geetu Mohandas. Recent photos of Yash have gone viral on social media, where he is seen in his new haircut and intense look for the film. The actor was spotted with a long beard and spiked hairdo, posing with senior actor Dr. Shiva Rajkumar and his family.
Yash's new look for 'Toxic
' gained eyeballs among fans. His chiseled physique and distinctive hairstyle increased the anticipation for the film as seen in the teaser released earlier on his birthday.
The film is expected to revolve around the drug mafia. The film is set against the backdrop of Goa, where a powerful drug cartel operates.
The film features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, and Tara Sutaria alongside Yash. The action sequences are being choreographed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry, who recently expressed his excitement about working on the project. Perry described 'Toxic' as a "banger," praising the work they did together.
'Toxic' is set to be a pan-India release. The film is being shot bilingually in Kannada and English, with plans to dub it in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. The makers are aiming to reach a broader audience, both domestically and internationally, as the film has also been in discussion with international studios.
Initially scheduled for an April 10, 2025, release, 'Toxic' has been postponed due to production delays. The makers are expected to announce a new release date soon, possibly aiming for a late 2025 theatrical release.
Interestingly, the 'KGF' star is also the co-producer of the film.
On the other hand, Yash is also working on Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi.
