Yajamana set for global release in Kannada only

When Darshan returns onscreen with Yajamana, produced by B Suresha and Shylaja Nag under their banner Media House Studio, it is the culmination of an endeavour that began a year ago for the filmmakers. The movie is eagerly awaited by Darshan’s fans and Shylaja assures that it will be worth the wait. “Yajamana is an action-packed family entertainer that suits all audiences.It was cleared with U/A certification with no cuts or mutes and has the right amounts of action, drama, romance and comedy, among others,” she says.
Shylaja and her team have been secretive about the film, letting out little in the public domain, which has only stoked interest in the project. “We have taken up the distribution and will release the film simultaneously across the country and abroad. Yajamana will hit theatres as a Kannada film, with subtitles in centres outside Karnataka. For the UAE release, we have Arabic subtitles. We are targeting around 500 centres in the country,” says Shylaja.
