The success of Jayammana Maga has spurred Duniya Vijay to seriously plan a sequel to it. The team of the film celebrated its success on Monday morning and spoke to the media on the occasion.Vijay said that there were many scenes and ideas that were not used in the film, and he is now trying to find an alternative plot for the sequel. He said that the challenge lies in not making the sequel funny and unbelievable. He added that he's researching different aspects of black magic and will take time to work on the project.

Jayammana Maga was made on a budget of Rs 5 crore and in the first 10 days, the film has collected nearly Rs 3 crore. The satellite rights have already been sold. Meanwhile, 30 new theatres started screening the film in its second week.
