“I was missing that buzz on the film sets. It’s exciting to be back to doing what I love most. I shot last December for the Shivaji Surathkal sequel and this is the first time I am shooting this year,” she said.

The project, directed by Akash Srivatsa, has Ramesh Aravind in the lead role.

DEALING WITH COVID

Speaking of the trying times, Radhika says, “It was a challenging phase for my family as my father also contracted the virus. We had to isolate ourselves in two separate rooms. Luckily, my mother tested negative and managed to look after both of us. We also had a tough time in getting the RT-PCR test done, so we got tested through home kits. My friends and doctors gave me moral support, which was the need of the hour as being in isolation was emotionally draining. I feel blessed to have such people in my life who ensured I stayed strong during those testing times.”
The actress credits yoga for helping her recover more quickly than she thought she would. “I started doing pranayama and meditation which helped me to get back my focus and stamina. Initially, I couldn’t do body movements, but now I can do it with ease and I’m raring to get back to work. I realised the importance of meditation while recovering from COVID. I’m now teaching those techniques to my close friends," she shares.
