As Karnataka assembly elections will be held on May 10, Speculations are rife that actor Kichcha Sudeep, may join politics. An official announcement is yet to be made.
Several reports suggest that Kichcha Sudeep, who has a huge fan following, without contesting elections might campaign for the candidates of a national political party to get maximum seats. Sudeep will lend his support to his close aide and producer Jack Manju who is contesting elections for a constituency in Bengaluru.
From the past several months, Kichcha Sudeep has met prominent political leaders like D K Shivakumar, H D Kumaraswamy and he has been sharing stage with Chief Minister Basvaraj Bommai in several events giving impetus about him joining politics.
Actors trying their hands in politics is not new in Karnataka politics. Currently, Sumalatha Ambareesh as Member of parliament and B C Patil as a minister are holding the positions of power. Actors like Shruthi, Umashree, Malavika Avinash and Tara too are active in politics.
On career front, Kichcha Sudeep has finalized three projects and an official announcement is likely to made soon.
