Will Shivanna, Rajendra Babu create magic again?

Yet, despite their success rate, for nine years, the director and actor did not work together, for reasons best known to them. And now they are ready to end this limbo.
According to a source, Shivanna has agreed to a film with the director. The project will be called Naa Ninna Mareyallare, which, incidentally, is the title of a Dr Rajkumar film. The title suits my story perfectly, says Rajendra, adding, Shivarajkumar will play an athletic coach in the film. In the Kannada film industry, there havent really been films on sports. But that doesnt mean that this is our attempt at doing a Kannada version of Chak De India!. Shivarajkumars character will not be like that of SRK in Chak De India!, says the director, adding that the story has a mix of sports and romance.
But why the long gap in doing a film together? I had told Shivarajkumar about this story when we were making Jodi Hakki, and he had asked me to work on it. Subsequently, though, I got busy with other work and wasnt able to do that. When I last met him, he asked me about the project and I decided to revive it. Ive been working on the script for the past one year, says Rajendra, adding that a major portion of the film will be shot abroad.
But will a romantic story be apt for Shivarajkumar, considering his age? Weve developed the story, keeping in mind his age. As a coach, he is expected to be an experienced, middle-aged man. The romance will not be the run-of-the-mill kind it will be divine, he signs off.
