Having garnered tremendous praise for his vigilante thriller 'ACT-1978', director
MansoRe is back in the news with another exciting subject in hand. According to the recent reports in an online daily, MansoRe has currently lay focus on a thriller surrounding Karnataka's current political milieu and has even approached popular Tamil/Malayalam/Telugu star
Sai Pallavi to play the lead role in his film.
While the actress hasn't given the nod yet, the reports do reveal that she found the subject matter to be quite interesting and is awaiting a bound script from MansoRe's end. The director is reported to have based the storyline of the film on real incidents.
MansoRe, speaking to the same daily, has suggested that he will get back to working on the script post the small break he has taken for his marriage. As reported recently, the national award-winning director tied the knot with his fiancee Akhila in an intimate ceremony on the 15th of August.
Should things materialize in the case of the Sai Pallavi project, it will be the 'Fidaa' actress' Kannada debut, after having fared as one of the top lead actors in all the other three South Indian languages. Sai Pallavi, an MBBS graduate, made her debut back in 2005 with an uncredited role but mainly shot to fame with the 2015 blockbuster 'Premam', wherein her spectacular dance moves found a cult of their own and took her to new heights overnight. Her other hits include 'Maari 2', 'Fidaa', and 'Kali'.
