Aishwarya's 'Laal Salaam' where the Superstar will play an important role. For the last few months, Rajini has been hearing stories from various directors for his next film after 'Jailer' but hasn't been satisfied so far.
Reports says that the actor has okayed director T Gnanavel's script which is yet to come out officially. The latest buzz is that the makers of '
KGF' are in the race to produce a film with the Superstar.
There is a buzz on social media that the makers have met and had a first round of discussions with Rajinikanth so far. As the actor is shooting for 'Jailer' in Mangalore, the makers eventually had some talks with Rajini to produce his next film after 'Jailer'. There are no details available about the director being finalized. The makers are planning to do a pan-India film with the Superstar.
Last year Rajinikanth saw 'KGF' in his home theatre and appreciated the film and congratulated the team later the actor saw 'Kantara' too and was so impressed that he called Rishab Shetty to his home and honored him for doing a wonderful job in 'Kantara'. There were rumors that Rajinikanth might be part of 'Kantara 2' which has been put down by Rishab Shetty.
Already the production house has established its presence strongly in Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam and is eyeing the Tamil industry too now. If this project falls in place with Rajini, it's going to be huge news. Also, Rajinikanth is not new to working with Kannada production houses as in the past after becoming Superstar, many Kannada makers have made films with Rajini in Tamil such as 'Adutha Varisu', 'Padikathavan', 'Naan Adimai Illai, 'Nattukku Oru Nallavan' and 'Lingaa'.
