Why Shwetha was absent from Aatma Saakshi's promotion?

Kannada actress Shwetha Srivatsav surprised the cast and crew of her upcoming flick Aatma Saakshi after she gave a slip during the promotional event of the film.
The film is based on the story Papa Nivedhane by author Na D Souza story, which first appeared in Taranga weekly magazine. After reading the story, Manu N, the director, producer and actor of the film, decided to turn it into a film.The film revolves around the subject of confession, where Shwetha and Manu play lead roles. “The content of the film is its USP,” says Manu, who had earlier directed documentary films.
Shwetha made her Sandalwood debut with Simplag Ond Love Story, which was a blockbuster. The film stars Rakshit Shetty and Shwetha in the lead roles. The film was directed by newcomer Suni aka Sunil Kumar. An unusual love story, the film is about a creative guy Rakshit's search in finding a match for himself. He happens to bump into Shwetha, who suffers from short-term memory loss. Their interaction that happens in a day's time forms the crux of the story.
