Why Nikita Thukral refused to play Silk Smitha?

Nikita Thukral who was the original choice to play Silk Smitha in Kannada remake of 'The Dirty Picture' revealed the reason for opting out of it.
The actress has now been replaced by Pakistani model turned actress Veena Mallik. Nikita who refused to be a part of the Kannada remake says the makers had different idea about the film, which was neither like the Bollywood version nor about the life of Silk Smitha.
According to her, the story was about a commercial sex-worker, which made her refuse the offer. Nikita is happy about her decision and reveals that she was offered the Tamil version too.
