Kusuma, wife of former IAS officer, D K Ravi, has filed the complaint before Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, to stop the shooting of the film Akshate, directed by Raju Devasandra. The movie has Mythriya Gowda, Raaj and Karthik in the lead roles. It is said that Ravi’s wife Kusuma, is planning to take legal action against the Akshate team, for doing a movie, which is based on the life of her deceased husband.
In a letter written to KFCC, She has also urged the authorities not to encourage films which are based on individual’s life. Taking cognizance of the complaint, KFCC has called a meeting on May 2, to resolve the issue. Recently, Karthik Gowda, son of Union Minister Sadananda Gowda, had also written letter to KFCC to stop the shooting of the movie.
